No fewer than 30 KTM X-BOWs at the first Race Orange event!
To make the KTM X-BOW perceptible for interested parties as well as for already existing customers: behind this idea one can find the enthusiasm, the passion and the experience of KTM, to demonstrate the potential of products like the X-BOW. Products which were proved in racing, developed for challenging use and are truly “Ready to Race”.
In case of the X-BOW at the end of research and development, there was a 1-2-3 victory in the overall classification of the GT4 European Cup 2008, which demonstrated the race track capability of the radical lightweight Austrian sportcar impressively – a capability, which was now discovered by customers and interested parties on the race track of La Bresse in France.
And right at the first of all in all five Race Orange events it was “Full House”: Finest spring weather and bright sunshine turned up for overall 30 KTM X-BOWs and their owners respectively the interested parties. While some completed the “Expert-Training”, others drove right away on the demanding, around three kilometres long race track, where they were professionally guided by KTM factory drivers Catharina Felser and Dennis Retera to slowly discover their personal limit.
After the collective lunch there was plenty of time in the afternoon to get in action on the racetrack – and of course for intensive “petrol talks” between the numerous participants who had enthusiastic chats about their experiences with their X-BOWs. For a trustworthy check-up in between even the KTM works mechanics were on location and helped with words and deeds, especially in setting up the cars properly.
At the end of the day – after the certificates and the presents were presented – customers as well as interested parties completely agreed that it was a perfect day with a perfect car on the race track. Some of them might join again already the next Race Orange event…
